Experienced Administrative Assistant: Full Time
John Pomp Studios is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. Applicant must have a minimum of 5 years of administrative assistant and customer service experience. Industry specific knowledge is a must. Ideal candidate will have worked in the interior design, architecture and/or furniture world.

The Designer will be a major contributor in all levels of product development from concept to production. The position requires the Designer to wear many hats and solve both aesthetic and technical challenges in a fast -paced environment. The Designer must be able to effectively communicate design intention both through conceptual model-making and through thorough technical drawing for vendors and in-house fabricators.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. 2-3 years full time professional experience is preferred. Excellence in quick sketching, model making, SolidWorks and technical drafting, Adobe Illustrator / InDesign. Technical knowledge of metal fabrication, carpentry, and glass making techniques. Skill in metal fabrication and welding is a plus. Knowledge of lighting and furniture standards is a plus. DESIGN INTERN - Part Time: Part Time
We are accepting applications for a Design Internship at John Pomp. The internship offers qualified candidates real-world, hands-on experience in the design, engineering, and production of design-driven lighting and furniture.

The Design Intern will be responsible for assisting the design department with all daily tasks. Such tasks may include but are not limited to; conceptual sketching, SolidWorks modeling and drawing, physical model making, prototype assembly, design reviews, organization of prototyping work area and art direction boards, Adobe Illustrator tasks, simple fabrication tasks, and general office work.
Qualifications
Candidates should be currently enrolled in a Bachelors level Product, Furniture, or Industrial Design program. Proficiency in sketching, model-making, and SolidWorks are required. Experience in metal fabrication, carpentry, and electronics is a plus. Candidates must demonstrate a strong work ethic, good written and verbal communication, a willingness to learn and help, and overall professionalism.
